About Ozzie: Ozzie is a mischievous creature with the eating habits of a goat. He once ate a donkey and cart but later burped out the live donkey. A distant relative to the troll from ‘the three billy goats gruff’ Ozzie has been eating socks since the turn of the century. If you have an odd sock there’s every chance Ozzie ate the other one. Preferably unwashed.

About Stan: Stan was abandoned at the 1969 woodstock festival. He soon found work as a roadie. Over the past 40 years he has been a roadie for such bands as “Mum’s & Roses” and “the Six Pistols”
He now resides in the Tee forest and has released numerous albums with his band “Stan and deliver”.

In Adelaide, South Australia we have experienced some pretty hot weather lately (including a November heatwave and days as hot as 43 degrees celsius). People have been doing whatever they can to keep cool and swimming has been on the top of everyone’s list of activities. Beachwear and Swimwear just got that little bit cooler with Small Paul’s new range of clothing and accessories.

Limited Edition Handmade Dolls from Sophie & Lili

We’re really excited to announce the arriving of our Sophie & Lili dolls from the US.

Jennifer from Sophie + Lili has designed these 3 gorgeous limited edition dolls just for Minifashionista. Each design is individually named: Piper (red hair);  Ellie (blond hair); and, Amalie (black hair).

Each doll is individually numbered and is approximately 32cm long. Complementary fabric has been chosen as backing (see sketch for details). 

They are all handmade with 100% cotton/100% polyester filling. They can be machine washed (on a gentle cycle) and tumbled dried on low or no heat.

Now the dilemma of which one to choose?

We so love the ElfYourself videos - they are hilarious! They’re back again this year and this time we included our cat Marty. My son was asking me the other day could he watch last years again – so he’ll be so excited when he sees the new 2009 ones. You can see ours here

Dress Like Suri with Polka Kids

Suri (daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes) spent some time in Australia recently where her mum was filming her latest movie.  Fashionista Katie took an interest in Australian Designer Kid’s fashion buying a number of pieces for Suri. Whilst they’ve since returned to the US Suri can still be seen wearing some of her Australian designer pieces. Pictured above with Tom at a park in Boston, where Tom is filming his new project, Suri is wearing a dress by Australian designer Polka Kids.

Grandpa Gets Crafty

I love it when grand parents make things for their grand kids. Sadly, as grand parents keep working into retirement age there are fewer of them that have the time to get crafty or handy.  One grandfather did have time though to convert this old Vespa into a fantastic ‘rocking horse’ for his grandson Diego.  What a great idea!
